Seasonal jobs are available throughout the year, though most hiring takes place during the summer and the winter holidays. Companies, especially retail and transportation, hire workers for the busy holiday season. Resorts hire workers for both ski season and the summer. Seasonal jobs are temporary and short-term by definition.
